Casuarina Beach, also known as Salt Beach, is a stunning 8 km stretch of golden sand running north-south between Cudgen Headland and Cudgen Creek on the Tweed Coast of northern NSW. This sweeping, unpatrolled beach offers sparkling clear waters and is part of the broader Bogangar Beach system. The southern end near Cudgen Creek is particularly picturesque, where luxury Salt Village meets the shoreline. Known for consistent rips and patches of rock reef, it provides a wild, scenic snorkeling environment where green sea turtles, rays, and reef fish are regularly spotted.

Moderate risk: Unpatrolled Beach
The majority of the beach is not patrolled by lifeguards; no flagged swimming area for most of its length.
Low risk: Rock Reef Patches
Scattered rock reefs near the southern end can create surge and sharp underwater hazards in certain swell conditions.
Low risk: Ocean Swell & Shore Dump
Exposed to ocean swell, with occasional shore dump waves that can be hazardous during beach entries.
