Calypso Beach is a little-known snorkeling gem tucked along Mandurah's coastline in the Peel region, just south of Perth. Unlike the busier Blue Bay next door, Calypso offers a quieter, more intimate snorkelling experience across shallow rocky reefs that form small pools and hidden nooks teeming with marine life. The reef structure creates natural channels and ledges that shelter a surprising diversity of fish, making every dip feel like a new discovery. The beach itself is a sandy stretch backed by low dunes, with calm, protected waters that are ideal for beginners and families looking for a relaxed reef paddle.
