Butler's Beach is a stunning, secluded stretch of coastline on the southern Yorke Peninsula, forming part of the Hillocks Drive private conservation property. This 5 km shoreline features dramatic granite boulders, sheltered sandy coves, and crystal-clear tidal rock pools teeming with life. The calm, shallow rock pools make for excellent beginner-friendly snorkeling, with visitors exploring the reef edges where seagrass meadows meet rocky intertidal zones. Located 14 km from Marion Bay and near Innes National Park, it's a peaceful alternative to busier beaches.

Low risk: Slippery rocks
Granite boulders and rock platforms can become extremely slippery when wet, especially around the tidal rock pools.
Low risk: Tidal variation
The rock pools are best explored at low tide; rising tides can quickly submerge reef platforms and cut off access to certain areas.
