Burri Wall is a renowned temperate-water wall dive off the NSW South Coast near Ulladulla, featuring a dramatic submerged reef drop-off that rises from a sandy seafloor. The rocky wall is encrusted with colourful sponges, soft corals, and kelp forests, attracting large schools of fish, wobbegong sharks, and occasional rays. Clear water and moderate depths make it a rewarding shore-entry snorkel for confident swimmers, though ocean swells can sweep the wall. Located within a protected marine habitat, the site requires calm conditions and good timing with the tide for the best visibility.

Moderate risk: Ocean swells and surge
Exposed wall that feels the full force of ocean swells, creating strong surge that can push snorkelers against the rocks.
Low risk: Outgoing tide current
Running tide can create a noticeable current along the wall, making it harder to return to the entry point.
Low risk: Sharp reef edges
The wall and bommies are covered in sharp barnacles and oyster shells that can cause cuts.
Low risk: Boat traffic
The site is used by local fishers and dive boats; surface visibility can be an issue.
