Burrell Rocks is a rocky headland and reef platform on the NSW South Coast, roughly between Ulladulla and Batemans Bay. The site offers a sheltered snorkeling environment around sandstone boulders and ledges that form shallow gutters and pools. The proximity to nearby coastal reserves and the generally calm conditions when the swell is low make it an intriguing spot for exploring temperate reef life.

Moderate risk: Swell and surge
Exposed rocky headland can receive ocean swell; surge around boulders increases risk of being pushed into rocks.
Low risk: Sharp rocks
Sandstone reef and rock platforms can be sharp and slippery, especially at low tide.
