Bonville Creek flows into the sea at the northern end of Bonville Beach, a sweeping 6.8 km stretch of sand between Bonville Head and Bundagen Head on the Coffs Coast. The creek's tidal estuary forms a protected paddling zone at the beach's north end, where calm, tea-tree-stained waters meet the open surf. Flanked by Bongil Bongil National Park, this is a wild, undeveloped coastline offering a mix of sheltered estuarine snorkel opportunities in the creek mouth and more adventurous swimming off the beach itself. The headland provides sweeping views and seasonal whale-watching.
