Pillar Point Bommie is a spectacular granite reef formation rising to within 7 metres of the surface, tucked off the north-western end of Norman Bay at Wilsons Promontory. This site within the Wilson Promontory Marine Park delivers a vibrant underwater garden of hydroids, anemones, and colourful sponges, with encounters often including Long-finned Pike, Magpie Perch, Wrasse, and the occasional Weedy Seadragon. The shore entry via Norman Bay Beach rewards snorkelers with clear waters and a short 75-metre swim to the bommie, where deeper sections teem with rich invertebrate life.

Low risk: Uneven rock entry
