Tucked away below the cliffs at Gerringong's southern end, Boat Harbour Ocean Pool is a stunning natural rock pool roughly 40m long and 25m wide, fed by ocean waves washing over its eastern wall. The pool is reached via a scenic 50-metre walkway from the carpark and offers crystal-clear waters perfect for spotting flathead, sea slugs, starfish, and schools of little fish. With a shallow rocky entry at the western end and a deeper eastern end safe for jumping in at mid-tide, this sheltered gem combines a swim, snorkel, and sunbake on the surrounding rock platforms all in one peaceful setting.

Shore entry

Located off Jupiter Street, Gerringong NSW 2534. From Gerringong town centre, head south on Fern Street which becomes Jupiter Street. Turn into Boat Harbour Reserve at the end. A 50-metre walkway leads from the carpark to the pool.
Parking & facilities
Free car parking available. Several spots right near the boat ramp at the end of the path, with plenty more parking further up the hill. The main carpark is about 150m from the pool via a sealed path.
