Tucked between Peterborough and Warrnambool along the Great Ocean Road, Boat Bay is a rugged shore-diving and snorkelling site on Victoria's Shipwreck Coast. Its pebbly beach gives way to cool, nutrient-rich waters that swirl around sandstone reef formations just offshore. Part of the Bay of Islands Coastal Park, this spot offers dramatic coastal scenery with sea stacks and limestone cliffs towering above. The site is popular for shore-entry snorkelling when conditions are calm, with easy access from the infamous steep boat ramp.
