Blue Bay Beach is a calm, shallow snorkeling spot nestled within the protected waters of Warnbro Sound in Rockingham, Western Australia. Part of the greater Shoalwater Islands Marine Park, this east-facing beach offers sandy entry and shelter from the region's prevailing south-westerly winds, making it an accessible and relaxed spot for in-water exploration. The beach sits within the suburb of Rockingham, roughly 45 minutes south of Perth, and is known for its quiet, family-friendly atmosphere and close proximity to Penguin Island.

Getting in
Drive south from Perth along the Kwinana Freeway (State Route 2) towards Rockingham. Take the Safety Bay Road exit and head west, then turn left onto Point Street or follow local signage to Rockingham Beach Foreshore. Blue Bay Beach is accessed via the Blue Bay area on the eastern edge of the Rockingham Beach precinct.
Street parking is available along the Blue Bay Beach foreshore and surrounding Rockingham Beach roads, including near the Rockingham Beach Foreshore Reserve parking lots.
No entry fee for the beach. Parking is free in most areas.
