The Blowhole is a dramatic sea-carved chasm on the Tasman Peninsula where the Southern Ocean surges through a narrow rock tunnel, exploding skyward in clouds of spray. Located minutes from Eaglehawk Neck at the end of a scenic coastal drive through Doo Town, this geological marvel sits within Tasman National Park. The surrounding area features sheer dolerite cliffs, a short lookout walk, and neighbouring attractions Tasman Arch and Devils Kitchen. While primarily a scenic landmark, the reef and rock platforms at the base offer adventurous snorkelers encounters with temperate Tasmanian marine life in crystal-clear waters when conditions are calm.
