Blowhole Beach sits within Deep Creek Conservation Park on the Fleurieu Peninsula, a 200-metre sandy beach cradled by steep bush-clad valley walls and flanked by rocky headlands. Accessible via a scenic 2 km walk from the Cobbler Hill carpark (or 4WD track), this remote stretch of Southern Ocean coastline is prized for its clear waters, seagrass meadows and rocky reef habitat. The beach's namesake blowhole puts on a dramatic spray show when southern swells roll in. While the setting is idyllic, swimmers must be wary of strong rips that can sweep bathers out to sea — this is a spot best enjoyed by confident snorkelers on calm days.
