Nestled beneath the headland at the southern end of Black Head Beach in the sleepy Mid North Coast village, this 30-metre, four-lane ocean pool offers calm, protected swimming and snorkeling with stunning views north along the beach. Carved naturally into the rocks and maintained by local volunteers ("Dad's Army"), the pool sits right next to the Surf Life Saving Club and includes a separate shallow kids' pool. Crystal-clear seawater fills the basin, making it an ideal spot for a safe, gentle snorkel close to the surf zone.
