Tucked into the southern corner of Bawley Beach, The Gantry is a historic timber-loading platform — a remnant of a 1920s sawmill — rebuilt after a storm washed away the original. This isn't a patrolled swimming spot; it's a local rite of passage where the brave jump from the platform into crystal-clear water below. Snorkellers explore sandy shallows around the jetty's rock platform, while inquisitive fish gather around the old foundations. With stunning coastal views and a low-key, off-the-beaten-path vibe, it's a captivating spot for those who like their swims with a side of history.
