Moderate risk: Strong Ocean Surf at Adjacent Beach
While the lakeside is calm, 90 Mile Beach on the other side of the dunes experiences strong waves, rips, and dumping surf — do not confuse the two.
Low risk: Boat Traffic
The jetty area is a popular boat landing point. Swimmers and snorkelers should stay alert for approaching vessels, especially on weekends and holidays.
