Bald Rock is a prominent granite outcrop off the southern coast of Great Keppel Island (Wop-pa) in the Southern Great Barrier Reef. The surrounding rocky reef drops from 6 to 15 metres, carved with gutters, ledges, and small caves that shelter a vibrant array of coral and marine life. Crystal-clear, warm waters and excellent visibility make this a favourite snorkel and dive site for those exploring the Keppel Bay islands. The exposed rock formation itself is a striking landmark visible from the shore.
