Avoid Bay is a secluded pocket on the wild south-east coast of the Eyre Peninsula, tucked between Cape Carnot and Point Avoid. Its exposed Southern Ocean shoreline offers clear, nutrient-rich waters shaped by the surrounding marine park sanctuary zones. The bay's rocky reef and sandy gutters create a dynamic underwater landscape, though conditions demand respect — this is not a sheltered cove. The raw beauty of the granite headlands and the sense of true isolation make it a destination for experienced snorkelers willing to venture off the beaten track.
