10th June is a stunning reef pinnacle in the Admiralty Islands group off Lord Howe Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The reef rises to just below the surface, forming a small pinnacle surrounded by crystalline waters. This site offers spectacular diversity — one side features dramatic gutters and sea fans frequented by pelagic fish like trevally and drummers, while the shallow pinnacle top is a haven for nudibranchs, egg cowries, and the occasional Spanish dancer. Japanese boarfish are a near-constant presence. As part of the world's southernmost coral reef system, fed by both tropical and temperate currents, 10th June delivers a unique blend of marine life found nowhere else. Accessible only by boat tour, it's a must for experienced snorkelers seeking unspoiled reef terrain.

The Admiralty Islands are exposed to ocean swells. Swell can create surge and challenging conditions around the shallow pinnacle.
Low risk: Shallow reef pinnacle
The reef pinnacle rises close to the surface; snorkelers must be cautious of sharp coral and rock formations.
